Wild Atlantic Way Tour

Our 3 day / 2 night Wild Atlantic Way Tour will take you to the Northwest of Ireland to explore counties Sligo and Leitrim. We only operate small group tours (max 16 persons) and we avoid the crowds, so if being squeezed onto a 50 seater coach for 12 hours is your thing, than this tour is not for you ! We believe in quality rather than quantity. Our tours allow you plenty of free time to explore and enjoy the landscape, we're in no hurry !

Depart Dublin and head to Carrick-on-Shannon, Co.Leitrim - a beautiful picturesque town on Ireland's largest river. Here we will stop to allow you explore this fabulous location, take a few photographs, relax and grab a bite to eat. Then onto Sligo and get you settled into your accommodation. You'll have all evening to explore Sligo town, have dinner and maybe even a pint of Guinness and some traditional Irish Music. We'll advise you on the best locations.

We're up early and off to the amazing Strandhill for a beach breakfast. You'll have plenty of time to grab breakfast in an award winning local cafe, have a coffee and a stroll on the beach, simply devine ! For the adventurous an optional leisurely climb up Knocknarea Mountain to Queen Meave's Cairn and breathtaking 360 degree views of the Atlantic Coastline or a beach walk to the ruins of a monastery founded by St.Patrick ! You decide.

Drumcliffe - the site of a 6th century monastic settlement and the final resting place of the poet W.B.Yeats.

Sheep Herding - An amazing display of working Collie dogs on a local farm. Meet the farmer, his sheep and of course the dogs.

Mullaghmore - Classiebawn Castle former home to Queen Elizabeth's cousin Lord Mountbatten, fishing harbor, amazing beech and stories galore, and a spot of lunch

Gleniff Horseshoe Valley - a truly beautiful and rugged landscape. Home to Ireland's highest cave and folklore tales. A real treat awaits you.

Glencar Lake and Waterfalls - a stunning valley and lake feed by Ireland's highest waterfall and possibly Ireland's smallest waterfall, both equally beautiful. A relaxing visit, followed by tea or coffee at the Tea House.

Then back to your accommodation for a well earned rest !
